The City of Maryville is set to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Mozingo Lake Recreation Park with a two-day Independence Day celebration on Friday, July 4, and Saturday, July 5. The festivities kick off on July 4 with an All Day Hole-In-One Contest at the Sechrest 18 Golf Course. Saturday’s events are packed with family-friendly activities, including a youth fishing tournament, golf scrambles, a beach party with free pizza and a foam cannon, a Mega Pong tournament, and various activities at “The Point” like face painting, food trucks, and Mozingo Bingo, culminating in live music and a fireworks display at dusk.
