A 35-year-old Carrollton man died Saturday afternoon following a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Route M in Nodaway County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the driver failed to negotiate a curve, causing the motorcycle to leave the roadway, strike a ditch, and overturn. Although he was wearing a helmet, the man was pronounced dead at a local hospital shortly after the accident.
