Nodaway County will hold its Annual Veterans Day Observance at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 11, at the American Legion Post 100 Hall in Maryville. The ceremony features guest speaker Major General Wayne Pierson, Ret., and will be followed by a 21-gun salute and a free lunch. Several other community, school, and American Legion events are also scheduled throughout the area to honor veterans.
