The St. Joseph School District received a clean financial audit for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, with no significant deficiencies identified by external accountants. Despite the positive report, the district is moving forward with a plan to cut four million dollars from its budget in each of the next two years to help restore operating fund balances. Assistant Superintendent Robert Hedgecorth says these savings will likely come from a combination of building consolidations, staff attrition, and tighter expense monitoring.
