Following a 40-minute lockdown at two schools prompted by an angry phone call, the St. Joseph School District explained its “No Entry” safety protocol. A district official stated that while there was no imminent threat, the procedure is implemented out of an abundance of caution in collaboration with police to ensure the safety of students and staff. School officials and law enforcement reviewed the successful lockdown afterward to find areas for continuous improvement.
