The St. Joseph School District is considering a significant budget reduction plan for the 2025-2026 school year to address a shortfall in its financial reserves. During a finance committee meeting Tuesday, officials detailed a proposal that would cut the central office budget by more than 87 percent. The district stated the goal is to implement cuts that have the least possible impact on core classroom learning. Officials are also reviewing multiple high school reorganization options as another way to improve the district’s financial standing.
